About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer with strong expertise in backend engineering, scalable applications, API development, and cloud-native platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and backend services • Build REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code • Participate in architecture discussions and system design reviews • Troubleshoot complex application, performance, and scalability issues • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation • Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and infrastructure teams • Support modernization initiatives involving AI-powered applications and intelligent automation Requirements • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience • 6+ years of hands-on Python development experience • Strong expertise in Python OOP, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms • Experience with concurrency, parallel processing, performance optimization, and debugging • Strong backend development experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, and SQLAlchemy • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD • Strong SQL skills and relational database experience • Ability to develop complex applications independently without heavy reliance on AI coding assistants
