About the Role We are seeking a Python/AI Developer with 9-12 years of experience to join our team in the banking domain. This role focuses on modernizing legacy applications and building AI-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities • Leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to modernize legacy applications • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based web applications, backend services, and automation solutions • Build AI-driven applications using Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, and modern AI development platforms • Develop and integrate AI agents, intelligent workflows, and enterprise automation solutions • Utilize AI-powered tools to generate, review, and optimize code while ensuring engineering best practices • Create and execute unit tests using AI-assisted tooling to validate functionality and compliance • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale automation systems and reusable custom libraries • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability • Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, QA teams, and Architects to deliver solutions on time • Document automation procedures, workflows, and technical implementations Requirements • 9-12 years of overall software development experience • 4+ years of hands-on Python development experience • Strong expertise in Python, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and Software Design Principles • Experience with Python frameworks: FastAPI, Django, Flask • Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications • Experience with Agentic AI Architectures, LLM Integration, and Prompt Engineering • Strong knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn • Experience with unit testing and test automation using Pytest and Unittest • 4+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-scale automation solutions • Strong understanding of workflow-based systems, process automation, queues, and reusable library development • Strong software engineering fundamentals including maintainability, scalability, and extensibility Preferred Qualifications • Banking, Payments, or Wealth Management experience • Experience modernizing legacy platforms and applications • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools • Knowledge of process engineering and business process re-engineering
