About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks, Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Python-based test automation. This role focuses on testing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations in a healthcare context. Key Responsibilities • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for Databricks data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integrations • Develop and execute automated test cases using Python, PySpark, and other automation frameworks • Perform end-to-end testing, including functional, integration, regression, UI, API, and data validation testing • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across complex data pipelines • Perform testing and validation of Stage and Production environments following deployments • Identify, report, track, and retest defects with appropriate severity and priority • Conduct impact analysis and identify regression areas based on development changes • Integrate QA automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines and workflows • Collaborate with Scrum teams, developers, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality delivery • Validate complex XML/JSON structures, SQL transactions, and cloud-based event-driven applications • Ensure compatibility with existing product features, interfaces, and business requirements Requirements • 8+ years of experience in Software Testing / Data Testing / QA Automation • Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark • Strong proficiency in SQL and PySpark • Experience in ETL/ELT pipeline testing and data integration testing • Strong experience in Python-based test automation • 5+ years of experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cucumber, Java, or similar • Experience in testing cloud-based and event-driven applications • Strong understanding of CI/CD, version control, test management, and automation framework integration • Experience with complex XML/JSON data structures and SQL transactions • Exposure to Azure cloud services, Delta Tables, Service Bus, Snowflake, and Event Grid • Healthcare domain experience with Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare claims data, EDI X12 transactions (999, 837, 834, 277), or HL7
