About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, and Selenium-to-Playwright migration for a remote opportunity. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript • Migrate existing Selenium automation scripts and frameworks to Playwright • Analyze existing Selenium test suites and identify migration opportunities • Develop reusable automation components and maintainable test scripts • Execute automated functional, regression, and end-to-end testing • Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines • Identify, report, and troubleshoot application defects • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to improve testing efficiency Requirements • 8+ years of experience in QA automation and software testing • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript • Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Selenium-to-Playwright migration • Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript automation frameworks • Knowledge of API testing, regression testing, and test strategy • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
