QA Automation Engineer

EMAIL ID: [Upgrade to PRO to see contact] Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. Lead the QA automation strategy, including test coverage, tool selection, and framework enhancements. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Review requirements and design documents to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities. Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and report defects with clear reproduction steps. Optimize test frameworks for performance, maintainability, and reusability. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers on automation best practices and coding standards. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in automation testing. Required Skills: 8+ years of experience in QA automation for enterprise applications. Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent. Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI. Knowledge of performance and load testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. Solid experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, etc. Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) and build tools (Maven, Gradle). Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based test automation platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest). Knowledge of BDD/TDD frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave. Exposure to containerized testing environments using Docker/Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps practices.
