About the Role We are looking for a QA - BE Automation professional to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role focuses on backend automation testing. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement test automation scripts using Python • Develop and maintain Pytest frameworks • Perform backend and API testing • Troubleshoot server-side issues and analyze logs • Ensure quality of transaction flows and processes Requirements • Strong Python programming and test automation experience • Hands-on experience with Pytest or similar testing frameworks • Proficiency in Linux/Unix commands and server-side troubleshooting • Experience with SSH-based remote server connectivity • Knowledge of regular expressions, text parsing, JSON and structured log handling • Understanding of asynchronous processing, polling, retries, and timeout management • Experience with Git, debugging, and test reporting • Familiarity with payment systems like UPI, POS/PED, payment gateways, and banking systems • Knowledge of Base24 or other payment-processing platforms • Experience with Go-based test utilities or transaction simulators • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD integration • Exposure to AI-assisted automation, agent orchestration or MCP
