About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with strong expertise in API testing, Playwright with TypeScript, Ometria CDP, and loyalty platform integrations. The candidate will lead end-to-end backend testing, validate data integrity across integrated systems, and build production-ready API automation suites for loyalty and customer data workflows. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end backend testing for integrated systems • Validate data integrity across multiple platforms • Build production-ready API automation suites • Develop test strategy and planning • Implement test automation using Playwright and TypeScript Requirements • 7+ years of QA and test engineering experience • Hands-on API test automation using Playwright and TypeScript • REST API testing, payload and schema validation • Backend testing and asynchronous/event-driven data flows • Data integrity, ingestion, field mapping, and profile synchronization • Test strategy, test planning, acceptance criteria, and quality gates • Manual and automated test case development • CI/CD pipelines and secure secrets management • Test reporting, traceability, and documentation Preferred Skills • Talon.one – Loyalty and Promotion Engine • Ometria – Customer Data Platform (CDP) • Loyalty workflows, promotion rules, and customer tier transitions • Lifecycle communications and notification testing • Retail / E-commerce domain experience • AI-assisted test generation and test data management
