Key qualifications and responsibilities we’re seeking include:Â
Strong technical aptitude and experience working with systemsÂ
Advanced proficiency in ExcelÂ
Experience supporting testing activities, including writing and executing test scripts and assisting with validation (compensation related)Â
Prior sales incentive / incentive compensation experience (preferred)Â

Role Summary:Â
We are seeking a functional QA professional with strong experience in system testing, specifically within Varicent ICM or similar incentive compensation systems. The ideal candidate will step in immediately to develop test strategies, execute test scripts, and validate calculations, ensuring a high-quality implementation.Â
Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
Testing & Validation: Actively participate in the full testing lifecycle, including functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and parallel processing.Â
Test Documentation: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.Â
Data Validation: Validate compensation plans, complex calculation logic, data imports, and reports within the Varicent platform.Â
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs and data discrepancies in a tracking system, collaborating with developers for timely resolution.Â
System Knowledge:Â Apply strong technical aptitude to understand system integrations (e.g., CRM to Varicent) and ensure data integrity.Â
Analysis:Â Perform advanced data analysis using Excel to reconcile calculated payouts with expected results.Â
Qualifications:Â
Experience: Proven experience in QA testing, specifically with Varicent ICM (or Xactly, Callidus, etc.).Â
Sales Compensation Knowledge:Â Prior experience with sales incentive/compensation management is highly preferred.Â
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex formulas).Â
Immediate Availability: Capable of stepping in immediately with minimal training.Â
Communication:Â Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders.Â
