About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled QA/QE Automation Engineer to lead platform development and automation framework initiatives. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality software products through automation. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing frameworks using Playwright • Develop and maintain efficient, reliable, and scalable automated test scripts • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues • Establish and enforce QA automation best practices and methodologies • Mentor and guide junior QA team members • Continuously improve testing processes, automation frameworks, and overall QA efficiency • Prepare and present test reports, metrics, and quality trends to stakeholders • Stay current with emerging QA automation tools, technologies, and industry best practices Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright • QA Automation and automated testing frameworks • Strong scripting/programming experience • Experience with CI/CD pipelines • Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies • Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python • Ability to analyze complex systems and identify testing requirements • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Experience working with cross-functional development and QA teams • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred • Relevant QA Automation / Software Testing certifications are a plus
