About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician/Engineer specializing in First Article Inspection (FAI) to join our team in the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and FAIR • Ensure compliance with AS9102 standards and Forms 1, 2 & 3 • Interpret ballooned drawings and engineering blueprints • Analyze 2D/3D drawings, specifications, and work instructions • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement problem-solving strategies • Develop FAI documentation, metrics, and inspection plans • Utilize Net-Inspect and DISCUS software Requirements • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance • Expertise in First Article Inspection (FAI), FAIR, and pre-planning • Knowledge of AS9102 compliance and Forms 1, 2 & 3 • Ability to interpret ballooned drawings and engineering blueprints • Experience with 2D/3D drawings, specifications, and work instructions • Strong skills in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), problem-solving, and risk mitigation • Experience with FAI documentation, metrics, and inspection planning • Proficiency with Net-Inspect; DISCUS preferred • Background in aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, or medical industry
