About the Role We are looking for a Referral Management Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on managing incoming faxes and coordinating patient referrals in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities • Manage incoming faxes through eClinicalWorks (eCW) FaxPress • Review, categorize, and file faxes into the correct patient charts • Coordinate and track inbound patient referrals from receipt to scheduling • Verify referral documentation, insurance details, and supporting clinical notes • Follow up with referring offices for missing information • Route urgent faxes and time-sensitive documents promptly • Maintain accurate referral logs and real-time trackers • Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information Requirements • Experience in medical records, referral coordination, or healthcare front office operations • Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW); eCW FaxPress experience preferred • Knowledge of medical terminology, referrals, lab reports, and imaging documents • Strong attention to detail and patient record management skills • Excellent written and verbal English communication • Knowledge of HIPAA and protected health information (PHI) handling
