About the Role We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our team, focusing on building reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems and applications. This role requires extensive experience in software development and Site Reliability Engineering. Key Responsibilities • Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services. • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. • Conduct thorough testing of systems and applications to ensure functionality, security, and performance. • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers and junior engineers. • Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively addressing issues and identifying opportunities for improvement. • Maintain and update documentation related to system design, development, and maintenance processes. • Lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. • Collaborate and solve complex problems using analytical thinking and tools. • Drive maturity in the observability space by creating the baseline of current monitoring coverage and improving overall monitoring coverage of all systems. • Contribute to team meetings and collaborative projects, aiming to lead at least one major team initiative or project. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • 7 years’ experience with software development and/or Site Reliability Engineering. • 7 years’ familiarity with programming languages/APIs: Python, shell scripting, NodeJS, ReactJS, Postman, Jenkins. • 7 years’ experience with Application Performance Management and expertise in platforms like New Relic, Dynatrace, Catch Point, and Grafana. • 7 years’ experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure). • 7 years of experience in data analysis, pattern recognition, and impact assessment using SQL and NoSQL query languages (NRQL, MySQL, AzureSQL, MongoDB, MS-SQL). • Proficient in data extraction using MySQL Workbench, DBeaver, command line, and Compass.
