About the Role Infy Technologies is seeking experienced researchers, Ph.D. scholars, academic professionals, and applied research specialists to collaborate on ENERGY DISCOVERY and GRID-DISCOVERY research initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Conduct research in Power Systems & Grid Resilience, focusing on transmission and distribution networks, utility assets, and infrastructure resilience • Perform Climate & Severe-Weather Research using climate datasets, extreme weather events, and environmental hazard analysis • Undertake Scientific Data & Geospatial Research involving Python, SQL, GIS, entity resolution, data integration, and reproducible experiments • Investigate Energy Geoscience & Environmental Research related to oil and gas, methane, emissions, subsurface data, and environmental impacts • Analyze Methane Measurement & Remote Sensing using satellite observations, methane detection, measurement uncertainty, and validation methods • Apply Energy Data & Machine Learning techniques for scientific ML, geospatial analytics, data provenance, benchmarking, and research data discovery Requirements • Strong publication records or relevant technical reports • Demonstrated applied research experience • Ability to contribute to research design, dataset validation, reproducible experiments, and credible scientific outputs
