Salesforce QA Functional Tester

Job Title: Salesforce QA Functional Tester Location: Tampa, FL (Remote) Duration: 6+ Months Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Functional Tester with strong expertise in Salesforce Platform Core Development, Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, and AgentForce. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the functionality, reliability, and quality of Salesforce implementations by working closely with developers, business analysts, and key stakeholders in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business analysts and Salesforce developers to understand functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with business and technical requirements Execute functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Salesforce solutions within the Energy & Utilities Cloud Validate workflows, automations, customizations, and integrations related to Salesforce AgentForce Identify, log, track, and retest defects in coordination with development teams Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews Ensure Salesforce solutions comply with security, compliance, and regulatory standards relevant to the Energy & Utilities industry Collaborate with automation and performance testing teams to support broader QA initiatives Document test execution results and provide clear reporting on test coverage, risks, and issues Stay current with Salesforce releases, Energy & Utilities Cloud enhancements, and AgentForce updates Recommend process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and overall quality Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of Salesforce Platform Core Development, including Apex, Lightning components, and Salesforce data models Hands-on experience with Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud and related industry business processes Familiarity with Salesforce AgentForce and agent automation/management capabilities Proven experience in functional testing of Salesforce applications Basic understanding of Salesforce integrations and APIs Experience with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective test scenarios Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and business teams Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in the Energy & Utilities domain is a plus Preferred Qualifications: Prior QA experience supporting Salesforce implementations in Energy & Utilities environments Exposure to automation testing frameworks or performance testing is a plus Interested candidates or vendors, please share resumes at [Upgrade to PRO to see contact] Please mention the job title, location, and visa status while applying.
