About the Role We are looking for a Scala Developer to join our team for a 12-month contract. This role focuses on building scalable, highly available backend services. Key Responsibilities • Develop scalable, highly available backend services • Work with microservices and event-driven architecture • Implement AWS cloud deployments • Set up CI/CD with Jenkins & Azure DevOps • Design and implement REST APIs, reactive systems, and functional programming Requirements • 3+ years of experience with Scala • 2+ years of experience with Akka (Actors, Streams, HTTP, or Persistence) • 5+ years of experience with Java 8+ • Senior-level software engineering experience • Strong problem-solving and system design skills • Experience mentoring developers and driving technical solutions • Bachelor's degree + 10 years of experience OR Master's degree + 8 years of experience.
