About the Role BRAINS CONSULTING is recruiting an experienced Senior AI / Platform Engineer to build scalable backend systems and deploy cutting-edge Generative AI solutions into production. This is an engineering-focused position requiring hands-on software engineering skills with a focus on AI/ML application development. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python. • Build and optimize data pipelines for production AI/ML applications. • Deploy and operationalize Generative AI solutions, including APIs, SDKs, and AI pipelines. • Develop robust APIs to integrate AI capabilities into applications. • Design and orchestrate AI agent workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, or custom frameworks. • Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability for AI services. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. Requirements • 5+ years of professional experience in Python backend development. • Strong software engineering fundamentals, clean code, and automated testing practices. • Hands-on experience with FastAPI (preferred), Flask, or Django. • Solid knowledge of SQL databases and Python database libraries. • Experience with cloud platforms: Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP. • Proven ability to design and deploy scalable APIs, backend services, and data pipelines. • Practical experience building AI-powered applications using LLMs and embedding models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.). • Familiarity with RAG architectures, agentic workflows, and Generative AI applications. • Experience with Docker and containerized environments. • Knowledge of Python libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
