About the Role We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This role focuses on designing and developing modern native Android applications. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop modern native Android applications using Kotlin. • Build customer-facing features for device upgrades, trade-ins, billing, payments, plan management, onboarding and activation. • Integrate REST APIs and platform services. • Drive technical design, code quality, testing and CI/CD best practices. • Collaborate with Product, Design, QA and Architecture teams. Requirements • 5+ years of professional Android development experience • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java • Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Libraries & Android Architecture Components • Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture & Dependency Injection • Familiarity with Coroutines & Flow • REST API integration and client-server interactions • Spec-Driven Development (SDD) — specifications, acceptance criteria, API contracts & architecture designs • Git-based development workflows • Debugging, troubleshooting & performance optimization
