About the Role We are seeking a Senior Architect to join the State of Ohio – Job and Family Services (JFS). This role involves driving business and IT strategic planning, developing enterprise architecture strategies, and leading digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Drive Business & IT Strategic Planning with senior leadership and business stakeholders • Develop enterprise architecture strategies, technology standards, and modernization roadmaps • Lead emerging technology evaluations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and digital transformation initiatives • Provide architectural guidance for Generative AI, AI/ML, Conversational UI, Virtual Assistants, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) • Support cloud modernization and architecture governance across Azure, AWS, and GCP • Develop Business Capability Models, Customer Journey Maps, and enterprise architecture artifacts Requirements • 12+ years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in Enterprise Architecture and 2 years in Solution Architecture • Hands-on experience leading AI implementations involving Generative AI, RPA, and Virtual Assistants • Experience with cloud modernization and Enterprise Architecture governance • Solution Architecture experience with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP Preferred Qualifications • TOGAF Certification • Experience with Avolution ABACUS Enterprise Architecture tool
