About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Python application development, distributed systems, and application integration patterns. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing scalable applications, developing RESTful APIs, implementing event-driven architectures, and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable applications • Develop RESTful APIs • Implement event-driven architectures • Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform • Work with distributed systems and high-throughput data processing Requirements • 15+ years of experience in data engineering • Strong Python programming and advanced software design patterns • AWS services: Glue, Lambda, EKS, S3, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, EC2 & RDS • Application integration patterns: REST API, Event-Based, File-Based & Batch-Based Integration • Kafka or other event-bus technologies • AWS platform management, IAM, security, DNS & Route 53 • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform • CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related DevOps tools • Relational & NoSQL databases, schema design, and query optimization • Distributed systems and high-throughput data processing • Low-Level Design (LLD), application architecture, and performance optimization
