About the Role We are looking for an Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. This role focuses on building innovative software solutions and driving engineering excellence through modern development practices. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript • Build responsive, reliable, and high-performance frontend components using Angular, Vue.js, CSS, and SCSS • Develop secure backend services, APIs, and integrations using Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and related Java technologies • Work with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch to develop efficient data access and storage solutions • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing • Identify performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot defects • Explore AI-assisted development practices, including prompt engineering, AI agents, MCP, and awareness of the EU AI Act • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements • Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and technical documentation Requirements • Proven experience in full-stack software development • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities • Fluency in either Dutch or French, with an understanding of the other language • Experience with frontend technologies: Angular, TypeScript, Vue.js, CSS/SCSS • Experience with backend technologies: Java, Spring Boot 4.x, Spring Security, Spring Data • Experience with messaging and data access: Artemis, Flyway, QueryDSL • Experience with databases and search: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch • Experience with testing: JUnit 6, AssertJ, Mockito, TDD • Experience with AI and emerging technologies: Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Skills, MCP, LLMs, AI security • Experience with architecture: Hexagonal Architecture
