About the Role We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to join our team working on State of Vermont IT Projects. This role focuses on developing scalable native or cross-platform mobile applications for public-sector users. Key Responsibilities • Develop scalable native or cross-platform mobile applications • Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-accurate interfaces • Integrate secure APIs and authentication services • Implement mobile testing, analytics, and crash reporting • Optimize application performance and accessibility • Support secure applications serving public-sector users Requirements • 5+ years of experience in mobile development • Strong knowledge of iOS development (Swift, SwiftUI) or Android development (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) • Experience with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native, .NET MAUI) • Understanding of API development and security (REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect) • Experience with mobile testing frameworks (XCTest, Espresso, Detox, Appium) • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) • Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG 2.1 AA, VoiceOver, TalkBack) Candidates must be U.S.-based, eligible for W2 employment, and able to pass a national criminal background check. Occasional Vermont onsite visits may be required depending on the project.
