About the Role We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support large-scale manufacturing and enterprise network infrastructure at Gigafactory Nevada. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can independently own network projects from planning and procurement through configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and completion. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale enterprise and manufacturing networks • Take end-to-end ownership of network infrastructure projects • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain routing and switching environments • Work with BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, VRRP, LACP, EVPN/VXLAN, and QoS • Perform network upgrades, configuration changes, and infrastructure deployments • Develop automation scripts and leverage APIs for network operations Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Juniper, Aruba, Cisco, and/or Arista • Excellent routing and switching fundamentals • Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, subnetting, and redistribution • Experience with large-scale enterprise network environments • Ability to independently manage technical projects Preferred Qualifications • CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or relevant networking certifications • Network automation (Python, Netmiko, REST APIs) • Experience with SNMP, IPAM, Splunk, and network monitoring tools • Manufacturing, industrial, or large enterprise networking experience Local candidates in or around Reno, NV are highly preferred. Exceptional non-local candidates willing to relocate to Reno will also be considered. Must be comfortable physically walking factory floors and working in an industrial environment.
