About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer for a 12-month contract opportunity. This role focuses on enterprise-level Power BI development, administration, and integration with Databricks. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, maintain, and manage interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop • Deploy and manage Power BI dashboards and reports through Power BI Server • Create, configure, and manage data sources within Power BI Server • Handle data source certification, scheduled refreshes, updates, and reporting data management • Manage Power BI workspaces, administration, governance, user access, and security permissions • Integrate Databricks with Power BI to support enterprise reporting and analytics • Develop and maintain data models, relationships, and Power Query ETL processes • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions • Collaborate with business stakeholders and data owners to improve reporting processes • Prepare technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer documentation Requirements • 4+ years of Power BI Workspace Administration and Governance • 3+ years of Databricks Integration • 3+ years of User Access and Security Management • 5+ years of Analytical Thinking • 6+ years of Data Modeling and Relationships • 5+ years of Power Query and ETL • 7+ years of Complex Reporting and Dashboard Design • 3+ years of M365 Automation and Integration • 2+ years of ServiceNow Ticketing • 7+ years of overall experience in Power BI development, dashboard design, data visualization, and reporting • Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Server • Experience with enterprise-level reporting, data modeling, ETL, and workspace administration • Government or public-sector project experience is a plus • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
