About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in Python, AWS cloud services, microservices, and event-driven architecture. This is a 6+ month contract position based in Plano, TX, open to local candidates only. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Python applications leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, EKS, Step Functions, and S3 • Design and implement microservices and event-driven architectures • Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines • Apply Terraform basics for infrastructure as code • Adhere to SOLID principles and design patterns Requirements • 8–12 years of experience in software development • Strong Python development experience • Proficiency in AWS services: Lambda, EKS, Step Functions, and S3 • Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines • Basic knowledge of Terraform • Solid understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns • Work authorization: USC/GC only • Passport required Good to Have • React.js • TypeScript • Node.js
