About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Senior Python Engineer with strong backend engineering, API security, and production microservices experience to build secure AI agent runtimes and MCP integrations. Key Responsibilities • Build secure AI agent runtimes and MCP integrations • Design and implement secure API designs • Develop microservices with robust error handling and latency management • Debug unfamiliar codebases and deliver independently Requirements • 10+ years of Python development and production microservices • Strong Python fundamentals: asyncio, type hints, pytest, and ruff • Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, JWKS rotation/caching, and secrets management • Service-to-service authentication and secure API design • Microservices architecture, error handling, retries, and latency management • Experience debugging unfamiliar codebases and delivering independently Strongly Preferred • Production OAuth token exchange (RFC 8693) • Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, preferably streamable HTTP with authentication • Claude API / Agent SDK and tool-using LLM agents • AWS Lambda/ECS, IAM, and Secrets Manager • LLM evaluation frameworks and production observability Bonus • Claude Managed Agents • Bedrock/Vertex AI • E-commerce integrations • Node.js 22
