About the Role Huron is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Senior SDET) to join its product engineering team. You will own the test automation strategy and framework architecture, ensuring reliability and accuracy across complex application workflows. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement test automation frameworks • Develop and maintain test automation code in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript • Utilize tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for UI testing • Conduct API testing with REST Assured, Postman, or SoapUI • Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins • Perform cross-browser testing with BrowserStack or equivalent • Validate databases using SQL • Implement performance engineering, scalability design, and observability practices • Work with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch • Utilize AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor Requirements • B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline • 4 to 7 years in software quality engineering with majority in test automation and framework development • Production-quality automation code in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript • Proficiency with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress • API testing experience with REST Assured, Postman, or SoapUI • CI/CD pipeline experience • Strong Git skills • Cross-browser testing experience • Solid SQL skills for database validation • Deep understanding of QA lifecycle and Agile/Iterative delivery • Clear communication skills • Experience with performance engineering, scalability design, and observability practices • Hands-on experience with AWS services • Practical daily use of AI coding assistants • Solid understanding of AI agents, skills, and tool-calling
