About the Role We are seeking a Software Architect to join the State of New York – Information Technology Services (ITS). This role requires extensive experience in full-stack web application development and enterprise application analysis. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement IT applications in a Lead Software Engineer / Architect role • Perform enterprise application analysis, solution design, and requirements gathering • Develop, QA, and release plan for multiple releases • Integrate SOAP and RESTful Web Services • Develop full-stack web applications using .NET Core, Vue.js, Angular, and related technologies • Develop responsive web applications using Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS • Create dynamic components, modules, and services using Vue.js, Angular, Axios, and Vuex • Work with MS SQL Server for database operations • Collaborate with business analysts and clients on requirements, gap analysis, and solution design • Mentor team members and establish coding standards Requirements • 7 years of IT application design and implementation experience in a Lead Software Engineer / Architect role • 7 years of enterprise application analysis, solution design, requirements gathering, development, QA, release planning, and successful delivery of multiple releases • 7 years of SOAP and RESTful Web Services integration • 7 years of full-stack web application development using Vue.js, Angular, .NET Core, .NET Core MVC, C#, and Entity Framework Core • 6 years of responsive web application development using Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Angular, Vue.js, and Webpack • 6 years of developing dynamic components, modules, services, and custom filters using Vue.js, Angular, Axios, and Vuex for REST API integration • 6 years of experience with MS SQL Server, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and views • 7 years of experience working with business analysts and clients on AS-IS requirements, gap analysis, TO-BE solution design, technical specifications, team mentoring, and coding standards
