About the Role We are looking for a Software Development Engineer (Android) to join a dynamic team building world-class mobile experiences for millions of customers. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering innovative customer-facing features within a leading mobile platform. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop native Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android technologies • Lead technical design and implementation of mobile features • Build and enhance experiences related to device upgrades, trade-ins, mobile plan management, billing and payments, mobile onboarding and activation, line and device management, push notifications, and international services • Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Backend Engineering teams • Drive architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership initiatives Requirements • 5+ years of Android development experience • Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java • Android SDK, Jetpack Libraries, Android Architecture Components • MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection, Coroutines, Flow • REST API Integration • Git-based development workflows • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills • Experience with Spec-Driven Development (SDD)
