About the Role We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team at UnitedHealthGroup in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications with a focus on AI integration. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications • Integrate AI capabilities to enhance automation and user experience • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions • Leverage AI tools to improve development, testing, and troubleshooting • Ensure code quality, application performance, security, and reliability Requirements • 8–10+ years of full-stack development experience • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, and REST APIs • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB • Experience with Azure/AWS, microservices, and cloud-native applications • Knowledge of AI/ML integration, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development • Experience using GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and AI tools in the SDLC • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, automated testing, and debugging • Excellent problem-solving, system design, and communication skills
