About the Role We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a leading client in the insurance sector. This role involves working on modern cloud-native applications, AWS serverless technologies, and scalable software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement RESTful APIs • Develop and maintain microservices • Work with AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, and API Gateway • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions • Utilize Git, Bitbucket, and branching strategies • Collaborate with the team using Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence • Implement Terraform for Infrastructure as Code • Troubleshoot and debug distributed systems Requirements • 2–5 years of software engineering or application development experience • Strong Python development and AWS cloud experience • Experience with distributed systems and troubleshooting • Knowledge of Java and modern web frameworks is an asset • Exposure to Snowflake, Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS data services is a plus • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
