About the Role We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer specializing in Performance & Load Testing to develop tooling and infrastructure for large-scale performance testing. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop traffic-replay and workload-generation tools • Build systems to replay HTTP/API requests, WebSocket traffic, and asynchronous workloads • Process large volumes of API, application, event, and telemetry logs • Transform production traffic data into reusable performance-test scenarios • Develop tools to clean, normalize, anonymize, and analyze traffic data • Leverage LLM-assisted workflows to identify traffic patterns and generate test scenarios • Automate load-test configurations and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines • Analyze performance results and identify bottlenecks • Collaborate with QA, SRE, DevOps, and engineering teams to resolve performance issues • Develop automated performance regression tests and document testing workflows Requirements • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, C++, or similar languages • Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, WebSockets, and distributed systems • Experience building automation tools, developer tooling, or data-processing systems • Experience handling large datasets, production logs, and telemetry • Strong understanding of latency, throughput, concurrency, and scalability • Experience with databases and SQL • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
