About the Role We are looking for a Splunk Observability Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on implementing and managing Splunk Observability Cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities • Implement Splunk Observability Cloud for APM, infrastructure monitoring, RUM, and log observer • Apply strong understanding of OpenTelemetry collectors, processors, exporters, and instrumentation • Work with distributed tracing, span analysis, and service dependency mapping • Utilize Splunk Enterprise and ITSI for integrated observability use cases • Apply strong Linux/Unix skills and scripting in Python and Bash • Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure Requirements • Hands-on experience with Splunk Observability Cloud • Strong understanding of OpenTelemetry components • Experience with distributed tracing and service dependency mapping • Familiarity with Splunk Enterprise and ITSI • Strong Linux/Unix skills and scripting abilities • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
