Urgent Hiring – SQL Data Analyst | Montgomery, AL | Onsite Position: SQL Data Analyst Client: State of Alabama – Medicaid Location: Montgomery, Alabama Work Mode: Onsite from Day One Duration: 3 Months with possible extension Interview Mode: Video / In-person Visa: USC or GC only We are actively hiring a highly motivated and detail-oriented SQL Data Analyst for an exciting onsite opportunity with the State of Alabama – Medicaid Agency. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in SQL, data analytics, reporting, and visualization who are passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful business insights. The selected candidate will work closely with agency leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives through advanced reporting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. Candidates should have hands-on experience working with large datasets, creating dashboards, and developing analytical reports using tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations Analyze data from multiple sources including financial systems, claims systems, eligibility systems, and third-party databases Produce annual reports, statistical summaries, data books, projections, and forecast analyses Prepare comparative financial and profitability reports for healthcare providers including nursing homes and hospitals Translate raw data into actionable insights and executive-level presentations Ensure timely delivery of accurate and high-quality reporting requests Collaborate with stakeholders, leadership teams, and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and business objectives Support data validation, data integrity, and reporting accuracy across multiple systems Required Skills & Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience as a SQL Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Reporting Analyst Strong expertise in SQL for querying, reporting, and data analysis Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence/data visualization tools Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Experience creating dashboards, executive reports, and forecasting models Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in healthcare, Medicaid, government, or financial reporting environments Familiarity with data integration and reporting automation processes Understanding of financial analysis, claims processing, and provider reporting Education: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field 📩 Share resumes at: Mail: [Upgrade to PRO to see contact]   📞 Contact:480-389-2901
