About the Role We are looking for an experienced Substation Manager to join our client's team in Oregon. This role involves leading substation construction activities while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities • Lead substation construction activities while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance • Coordinate with engineering teams, EPC contractors, and project stakeholders • Oversee construction quality, inspections, QA/QC documentation, and site audits • Review electrical schematics, civil, mechanical, and structural drawings • Manage concrete foundations, drill piers, breaker pads, and GSU containment pits • Handle material procurement, material takeoffs, RFIs, and change orders • Monitor project progress, resolve field issues, and maintain construction documentation • Support commissioning, project turnover, and final energization Requirements • Strong experience in substation construction and field management • Excellent knowledge of electrical equipment, civil foundations, and structural drawings • Proven leadership, safety management, and contractor coordination skills • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and MS Project
