About the Role The Laboratory Sciences Systems Specialist is responsible for validating, administering, and managing data acquisition systems within Laboratory Sciences. This role supports global validation and implementation, manages changing controls, and oversees the overall lifecycle of systems. Key Responsibilities • Execute GLP Validation processes, including document preparation, change control execution, and decommissioning of retired systems • Draft standard operating procedures for system use and maintenance • Support system implementation at the site level via collaboration with stakeholders • Manage system lifecycle including upgrades and serve as Global System Administrator • Perform system analysis and provide insights for improvements • Define requirements and document specifications with users and managers • Identify areas for process improvements and innovation • Implement improvements, enhancements, and new applications to systems • Interact with stakeholders including End Users, Management, Business Partners, and Vendors Requirements • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent, preferably in a scientific-related discipline • Minimum of three years related experience within a CRO, Pharma, or similar environment • Ability to influence resources/staff without direct reporting relationships • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Working knowledge of computer software (MS Word, MS Excel, and databases) • Experienced using data tools such as Excel Pivot Tables, Smartsheet, and Power BI
