About the Role We are looking for an experienced Talend Snowflake Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Talend ETL development, Snowflake data warehousing, SQL, Linux/Unix scripting, and Python automation. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data pipelines and implementing modern data warehouse solutions using Medallion Architecture. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop enterprise data pipelines using Talend ETL/ELT • Implement and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions • Develop and maintain technical specifications and Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments • Analyze and convert SAS processes into Snowflake-based solutions • Ensure data quality through reconciliation and validation processes Requirements • 8–10+ years of experience in Talend ETL/ELT development and data integration • Extensive experience with Snowflake data warehouse development, administration, and performance optimization • Strong proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning • Experience with Linux/Unix scripting and Python automation • Understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers) • Experience developing ETL pipelines using Talend and/or Informatica • Knowledge of dimensional data modeling, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension tables, and SCD Types 1, 2, and 3 • Experience with CDC, incremental data loads, data reconciliation, and data quality validation • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based data platforms; Azure experience is also beneficial • Ability to prepare Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents and technical specifications • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and client-facing skills • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
