About the Role We are looking for an experienced Technical Implementation Specialist to join the Mississippi State Department of Health for a 12-month hybrid contract opportunity. This role focuses on managing mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint management environments using Microsoft Azure/Entra ID and Intune. Key Responsibilities • Configure device enrollment, compliance policies, Conditional Access, and security baselines • Manage Apple Business Manager (DEP/ADE) and Android Enterprise integrations • Handle application deployment, migration support, troubleshooting, and device compliance issues • Document technical processes and provide knowledge transfer to agency IT staff • Ensure alignment with state, federal, and agency security standards Requirements • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Management • Enterprise-level experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) • Hands-on experience with Apple Business Manager (DEP/ADE) and Android Enterprise • Expertise in Conditional Access, compliance policies, and policy management • Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills • Public Sector / State Government experience • Experience migrating from Meraki or other MDMs to Intune • Experience with Windows Autopilot, PowerShell scripting, and automation • Familiarity with STIG, CIS, or other security compliance benchmarks • Microsoft Certifications (Intune, Azure, Endpoint Management)
