About the Role We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to drive the design and development of scalable, highly available, distributed systems on AWS. This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership and cloud-native architecture. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and development of distributed systems using Go, Python, and Node.js • Define technical direction, coding standards, and architecture best practices • Design, scale, and optimize AWS infrastructure using EKS, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift • Drive CI/CD, infrastructure automation, testing, and operational excellence • Lead technical design reviews, mentor engineers, and improve system reliability • Implement AI-assisted development workflows using Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools • Integrate AI/LLM capabilities, including RAG, embeddings, APIs, and agentic workflows • Ensure secure AI development practices and protect sensitive data Requirements • 8–10 years of software engineering experience • Strong hands-on expertise in Go and Python, with working knowledge of Node.js • Deep AWS architecture and Amazon EKS experience • Production experience with Red Hat OpenShift • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, Kafka, SQS/SNS, and fault tolerance • Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted development and LLM integration • Technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience in US healthcare, health insurance, or payer systems • Knowledge of claims, enrollment, benefits, HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, or X12 EDI • Previous experience in client-facing consulting environments
