About the Role We are seeking an Independent Senior Test Manager for a long-term enterprise project focused on Data & Analytics platforms, Big Data applications, and cloud data platforms. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage end-to-end Quality Engineering and testing delivery for enterprise Data & Analytics platforms • Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, automation roadmaps, and release readiness criteria • Provide technical leadership for testing solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Python, Hadoop/HDFS, Hive, Azure Data Factory, and SQL • Oversee ETL/ELT testing, source-to-target reconciliation, data quality, data integrity, and complex backend validation • Manage and mentor onsite/offshore QE teams, driving automation strategies • Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Architects, and stakeholders to champion shift-left quality engineering Requirements • 12+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, ETL/Big Data Testing, or Data Warehouse Testing • 5+ years in Test Lead/Test Manager roles • Strong technical depth in Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Python, ADF, Hive, and advanced SQL • Extensive experience managing testing for large-scale Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Lakehouse architectures • Strong knowledge of Databricks Workflows, Delta Lake, Unix/Linux, and schedulers • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
