About the Role We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our team for a 12-month contract. This role focuses on supporting and maintaining business-critical websites with a strong emphasis on WordPress development. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain WordPress websites • Build custom themes, page templates, reusable components, and responsive landing pages • Ensure website reliability, performance, security, and excellent user experience • Implement technical SEO, website performance optimization, and cross-browser testing Requirements • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites • Strong front-end development skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript • Practical PHP and WordPress development experience • Experience with plugins, hosting environments, staging, deployments, and version control • Strong understanding of website security and maintenance • Knowledge of web accessibility standards
