Job Title: Technical Writer Experience: 3 Years Minimum Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Dhaka

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our team and support our client’s projects in creating, updating, and migrating technical documentation. This role involves working closely with a customer-led technical writer pool to deliver high-quality, precise, and user-friendly documentation, primarily for large machinery and industrial products.

Key Responsibilities: • Must have proven experience working in DITA and Ixiasoft environments to develop and manage structured content. • Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation such as installation manuals, product updates, and system migration guides. • Collaborate with engineering teams, product specialists, and other technical writers to gather information and ensure accuracy. • Participate in documentation migration projects from other systems to Blasoft. • Ensure content consistency, clarity, and compliance with established style guides and customer standards.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Language & Literature, Technical Communication, or a related field. • Alternatively, completion of a Technical Communications program as part of other academic studies.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with DITA and Ixiasoft. • Proven experience writing instructions for large machinery (not software or small electronics). • Strong English proficiency (C1 or C2 level). • Ability to work independently in a customer-led documentation environment. • Attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills.

Process & Collaboration:

You will work as part of the client’s established technical writer pool, with the client leading the workflow. Typical projects include: • Migration of documentation from other systems to Blasoft. • Creation of installation manuals for new products. • Product update documentation.
