Job Title: Japanese Translator/Interpreter

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Japanese Translator/Interpreter to facilitate effective communication between Japanese speaking and non Japanese speaking individuals. The ideal candidate will possess fluency in Japanese and English, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances. This role requires expertise in both interpretation and translation, ensuring accuracy and context are maintained in all communications. Responsibilities: Interpretation: Provide real time translation during meetings, conferences, and events. Facilitate communication between Japanese speaking and non Japanese speaking individuals. Translation: Translate written documents such as emails, reports, articles, and presentations from Japanese to English and vice versa. Ensure the original meaning and context are maintained in translations. Cultural Mediation: Understand and convey cultural nuances to avoid misunderstandings. Respect and uphold the confidentiality and privacy of interpreted information. Specialized Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of industry specific terminology relevant to the field. Utilize dictionaries, glossaries, and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used. Proofreading and Editing: Proofread, edit, and revise translated materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
