Job Title: Technical Writer – Construction Industry (Remote-Based | US-Focused) Company: Purely Startup Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Content Writer with a strong understanding of the construction industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality technical content, including proposals for construction companies, training modules, and technical documentation for both internal stakeholders and external clients. Familiarity with AI writing tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, along with experience working with US-based construction clients, is a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Draft tailored construction proposals and RFP responses for US-based clients Develop detailed SOPs, training materials, and internal documentation Translate complex technical information into clear, accessible language Write high-quality blog posts, video scripts, and social media copy Collaborate with construction experts to extract and structure technical content Edit, format, and proofread content for clarity, consistency, and tone Leverage tools like ChatGPT to streamline content creation and ideation Manage multiple content projects with autonomy and accountability

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of professional content writing experience, preferably in a technical or construction-related role Experience creating proposals, manuals, or training content Prior exposure to US-based clients or construction firms is highly desirable Familiarity with AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT) is a strong plus Skills: Excellent command of English with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills An understanding of construction workflows, terminology, and business context (preferred) Ability to translate technical language into reader-friendly and accurate content Self-driven, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines Basic design ability using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite (a plus) Personal Attributes Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering clear, impactful content Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment Open-minded, collaborative, and always willing to learn Aligned with values of sustainability, innovation, and ethical practices
