"Project Details 📈 Budget: $8.00 – 15.00 USD per hour Description 📝 We are looking for a skilled and creative translator to work on a set of short romantic stories between Arabic and English. This is not a regular word-for-word translation job — we are looking for someone who can adapt the stories emotionally and culturally, preserving the feelings, tone, and dialect when moving between Arabic and English. Key Requirements 🔑 ● Native-level fluency in both Arabic and English. ● Ability to capture romantic and emotional tones. ● Experience with creative writing or literary adaptation. ● Familiarity with Arabic dialects and ability to reflect local nuances in translation. ● Understanding that this is closer to rewriting than technical translation. What You’ll Do ✍️ ● Translate Arabic short stories into English (and vice versa) while preserving the emotional flow, cultural subtleties, and romantic atmosphere. ● Adapt local expressions and dialogues in a natural way, not just literally. ● Ensure the final text feels authentic to a native speaker. Bonus If You 🌟 ● Are familiar with Egyptian, Levantine, or Gulf dialects. ● Have worked on fiction, romance, or emotional storytelling. ● Can show writing samples (optional).
