🌍 Job Opportunity – Translator (Chinese ↔ English) China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co. Ltd. (CPP), a contractor on the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project, is seeking a qualified Translator (Chinese to English and vice versa). Position: Translator Location: Tanzania Nationality Requirement: Must be Tanzanian Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate and timely translation (written and spoken) between Chinese and English. Support communication between Chinese management teams, Tanzanian staff, and local stakeholders. Translate official documents, reports, and technical materials. Assist in meetings, trainings, and site visits by ensuring clear interpretation. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all translations. Qualifications & Requirements: Must be a Tanzanian citizen. Proficiency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English (spoken & written). Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, or related field (preferred). Previous experience as a translator/interpreter in a corporate or project environment is an added advantage.
