Technical Writer Job

Siemens, Pune, is looking for an experienced UX writer on a one year contract basis. The ideal candidate will have native-level or excellent proficiency in business English. Will work with cross-functional teams to create clear, user-focused copy that adheres to existing copy guidelines, supports usability, guides users to their goals, and simplifies complex technical information.

----Education---- Studies in Languages, Communication, Journalism, Psychology, Design, Marketing, Advertising, Adult Education, Technical Communication, Information Architecture, or related fields.

----Background---- Degree in a related field with experience in UX Writing, Technical Communication, or Information Architecture. Prior UX role preferred.

----Professional Skills---- Structuring and classifying information Accessibility / easy language Technical writing & documentation UX texts, frameworks, guidelines Usability evaluation of content

----Activities---- Develop copy for products, systems, and updates Define UI text (labels, messages) Maintain text style and glossary consistency Ensure brand consistency in content Support testing and evaluation of interactive systems Use research insights to improve user experience

----Artifacts & Deliverables---- UI text, task-specific text, UX writing guidelines, glossaries, labels, frameworks, technical documentation, and help/guidance systems. #UXWriter
