We’re excited to announce a new opportunity for a Technical Writer – Security Defense & Response to join our client’s Integrated Security Department in San Antonio, TX!

This long-term onsite contract role is perfect for someone who thrives in a highly technical environment and enjoys transforming complex cybersecurity and physical security concepts into clear, accessible documentation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Create and maintain security documentation (policies, procedures, user manuals, training guides, and more). Collaborate with security engineers, analysts, and internal stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy. Promote knowledge sharing and improve documentation standards across the organization. Develop and manage content strategies aligned with compliance and security requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Strong attention to detail and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency ✅ Knowledge of IT security principles, incident response, and vulnerability management ✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills ✅ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) ✅ Prior Cyber or Physical Security experience preferred ✅ Experience with SIEM tools or Operations Centers a plus
