Japanese Interpreter (Min. JLPT N2)

Location: New Delhi, India   Salary: ₹15,00,000 – ₹20,00,000/year   Eligibility: Open to applicants in India with JLPT N2 or N1

JOB DETAILS   A Japanese Interpreter is required for an exclusive project management assignment in the railway industry. The role involves interpretation across Japanese, English, and Hindi while also supporting document translation and cultural understanding between Japanese companies and Indian government organizations.    • Provide interpretation for project management department (Japanese-English-Hindi)    • Read and translate contracts, specifications, technical reports, and meeting minutes    • Support communication and bridge cultural gaps between Japanese and Indian stakeholders    • Learn and apply technical terms and jargon specific to the railway industry (track, signalling, vehicle design, power supply)

REQUIREMENTS    • JLPT N1 or N2 certification (proof required)    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Japanese interpreter    • Strong ability to adapt to technical terminology and industry-specific language    • Capability to bridge cultural differences between Japanese and Indian business practices

NICE TO HAVE    • Previous experience in the railway or infrastructure industry    • Strong documentation and reporting skills    • Interest in long-term growth as a professional interpreter
