Role Overview Mercor is seeking an experienced English–Japanese translator/interpreter to support real-time translation during business and sales meetings. You’ll ensure smooth, accurate, and culturally appropriate communication between English- and Japanese-speaking participants. Key Responsibilities ✅ Provide simultaneous or consecutive translation in virtual or in-person meetings ✅ Translate verbal discussions and written follow-ups (chat messages, summaries) ✅ Maintain professional tone and cultural sensitivity ✅ Coordinate with stakeholders to understand meeting context and terminology ✅ Ensure confidentiality and professionalism Requirements Native-level fluency in Japanese and English (spoken & written) Experience as an interpreter/translator in corporate, client-facing, or sales environments Strong understanding of business terminology, particularly in tech, sales, or partnerships Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Available for meetings on 9th October 2025 Nice to Have Experience with startups, tech firms, or multinational companies Familiarity with Zoom, Google Meet, or MS Teams About Mercor Mercor connects top experts with leading AI labs and professional projects globally.
