Job Description: KEDA Tanzania Ceramics Co. Ltd is looking for a skilled Translator fluent in Chinese and English to facilitate effective communication within our diverse team. This role is crucial for bridging language gaps in both written and verbal contexts, supporting various departments from production to administration. The position is based in Mkuranga, Tanzania.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating documents, participating in meetings as an interpreter, and ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness in all communications. We seek an individual with excellent command of both languages and a strong understanding of technical and business terminology.

Job Requirements: • Ordinary Diploma or Advanced Secondary Education (Form Six) • Relevant experience as a Chinese-English translator • Native or near-native fluency in both Chinese and English • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages • Strong cultural understanding of both Chinese and Tanzanian contexts • Ability to accurately convey complex information between languages • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Ability to handle confidential information professionally • Proficiency in translation software (desirable) • Good time management and organizational skills
